Carousel is a conceptual company that stylishly outfits kids for special events through a simple, easy, and reliable rental program. A growing child can only wear event based graphic apparel once. Carousel provides a unique, pragmatic, and sustainable solution by allowing consumers to simply send that clothing back when they’re done. Their proprietary apparel designs are tasteful, trendy, and modern. The user experience from start to finish is easy and flawless. The combination of this practicality along with the fun of celebrating life’s special moments is key to their value proposition.

With that in mind, I aimed to create a visual identity that balances simplicity with touches of fun and whimsy, all in a way that feels modern and friendly. The bright, punchy colors lend a cheerful feel, but their sparser use keeps things sophisticated for the adult target consumer.

On the web design, I felt the site should be very simple, clean, and easy to navigate, with no real frills or added noise. I also wanted users to be able to shop right away from wherever they are on the site, so I included the left hand sidebar with drop down filters to search through the apparel.
